Thank you for visiting my site, my name is Kirk Tinham and I am the founder and guide for FlyFishZermatt.

My passion for fly fishing began as a teenager when I used to fish the rivers of my home town, Huddersfield. I later developed my skills whilst serving in the British RAF, where I started a fly fishing club and fished competitively throughout the U.K.

I moved to the Swiss Alps in 2006 to work in the tourism industry, and it was in Zermatt that I discovered our beautiful mountain lake which is just perfect for fly fishing during the summer months. I have been managing this private lake since 2010, looking after the health of the fish and insuring a good level of growth that makes for great sport fishing.

I have qualified to hold a Swiss fishing license which enables me to take groups of fly fishing enthusiasts to share in this unique and private experience.
